This journey was made on the same trip that took us to the breathtaking Laxapana Falls. I long for the green of the tea plantations, the fresh air and the mist of the mornings and evenings.
The area featured above is located just near the foot of the popular Sri Pada (Adam’s Peak) Mountain with its pilgrimage trail. Hence the waterfall that is a part of this landscape gets its name from the proximity to the Sri Pada Peak.
To a side of the reservoir is yet another waterfall. We walked through a narrow trail to get near the Moray Falls.
Leeches occupied my mind through the hike. I skipped over a few of them.
